Dr. Walker is a graduate of Radford University, Radford Virginia and the University of UAL School of Optometry in Birmingham, AL. After graduation, she completed her residency at the Birmingham VA Medical Center, specializing in Geriatric Optometry and Low Vision Rehabilitation.

Dr. Walker is a licensed and certified Optometric Physician in the state of Alabama

and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Low Vision Rehabilitation Services as well as the Alabama Optometric Association.

A native of Virginia, Dr. Walker grew up in Fairfax. She and her husband Chris now spend all their free time with their new son, William Garrison, who was born 2/14/07.
